OasisCentral History

OasisCentral actually has quite the long history, dating back to the days of dial-up modems and AOL. The site originally started as a sub-section of a Star Wars themed website I had built on Geocities.com. Realizing the section really should be its own website, OasisCentral was born. From 1997 to 2002 it grew to be one of the larger Oasis fansites on the internet. At that point life really got too busy for me to keep on top of updating the site on a regular basis in the days before proper content managers. The site was online until 2004, at which point I took it down and simply redirected the domain to the webmail service I had been offering.

OasisCentral Now

For the longest time I’ve kept the domain OasisCentral.com, hoping that one day I would come up with something useful to do with it. Well I finally bringing to fruition an idea I’ve had for awhile, an Oasis aggregator. Using modern web technologies, I aim to bring together sources from across the web to give Oasis fans a go-to resource for all things Oasis.
