Hurricane #1 – “Only the Strongest Will Survive”
Hurricane #1 were a Britpop group active from 1996 to 1999. The key members were vocalist Alex Lowe and guitarist Andy Bell, former Ride lead guitarist. Shortly after Hurricane #1 disbanded, Bell was hired by Liam and Noel Gallagher to play bass in Oasis. He is expected to remain and play in the post-Noel, Liam-centric “new Oasis by another name.”
Do you dig the Hurricane #1 song? I do; it’s very poignant and enjoyable, in my opinion. Solid, underrated (no one seems to remember it exists) Britpop tune.

    I haven’t heard of this band before and I was expecting a different kind of sound when I clicked on the link since Andy Bell was a member. Although I think I might have heard it before as it sounds faintly familiar.
    Anyway I enjoyed the song and I’d give it a 7 out of 10.
    BQ: Rock N Roll Star
    An undeniably brilliant song that always makes me put a bit of a Gallagher strut into my walk whenever I listen to it.

    wow, i really liked that song. and as for the bonus question, my favorite Oasis song is Acquiesce. Liam and Noel on the same song really was awesome. I know there was Let There Be Love and Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is, but Acquiesce was so much better than those two.
