some areas sound just like him ,yes men women and kids sound exactly the same
i think it is a lovely accent , it certainly adds character
most outside areas just have a twang of the accent , they all deny it but i can hear it , why the snobbery over it ?
we should be as proud as the liverpudlians
oasis are great and we should all be proud of our accents and where we come from
why can you not understand what he is saying , newcastle ireland and scotland also have strong accents you need to concentrate properly , is english your second language ?
Liam Gallagher has one of the most contrived Manchester accents I’ve ever heard, and I’m from there ! The only Manc to sound like that is Liam !
His intention is to attempt an ‘ inner- city’, scally – ish voice, which he thinks makes him sound more ‘ street’, but us fellow- Mancs know he’s from Burnage , a somewhat boring , nondescript suburb of south Manchester…
Whereas I’m from Cheetham Hill, me, sortid, yer know wa’ i mean, pal…!!!
I hope that this won’t be a disappointment to you, but no, we don’t all talk like the Gallaghers – thank goodness! I am a Mancunian and I am certain that you would understand every word I say.
Do all people in Canada sound like they are from the US? I dont think so. As you have regional dialects – so do we.
Thankfully no, they don’t!
No we don’t, thankfully.
Canadians sound identical to US accents with the lone regional exception being Montreal (French influence). Candians only have slight differences with the pronounciations of words similar to “about”. Slang is slang … Candians sound like our Midwesterners …
Canada is just a suburb of the US.
